Excursion to Rissani

At a factory that offering fossil and mineral products. Fossil is said being embedded since more than 140mil years ago

It is then p cut, polished and maintained the fossil as the art that you can display or use as your entrance, table etc

A journey from Fes-Ifrane-Erfoud , a very heart of Morrocco 



A stopover at Ifrane, French built alpine resort. Also a hot spot resort for ski




Verdant cedars forest give way to volcanic mountains and wind swept plain as we motor crossed the middle Atlas range to Midelt

And at the background... The Atlas mountain 

Descend into the spectacular Ziz a Gorges n arrived in Er-rachidia an important crossroad, once controlled by the French Foreign Legion 



Stopover for lunch at ....
The town...a very clean town

The landscape slowly changes and becomes progressively more arid as we enter the stony desert


On our last stretch to Erfoud, an expected and breathtaking surprise; the miraculous and peaceful oasis of Ziz Valley appeared out of no where

We reached Erfoud ( is an oasis town in the Sahara Desert, which is also known as the Gate to Sahara) and our Hotel for 2 days
